Negghead

Negghead is a downtempo and trip-hop act associated with beats, chillout and deep house. The project is built around a blend of future-facing funk beats and polished, melodic tunes, with hip-hop, soul and jazz forming a strong part of its sound.

Releases and style

Negghead follows the Super Skeleton and Blast! EPs, which are described as well received and strongly funk-oriented. The music is presented as club-oriented but rooted in musicianship, with a beat-driven approach that aims to make people dance.

Activity

Alongside recording work, Negghead is linked with DJ-based activity. This includes a summer residency at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza and co-hosting WAX ON Records' WAX DA BEACH party events at Kumharas with DJ E.A.S.E.. The project also has other musical activities connected to it, and work is focused on completing a debut album.
