Nearly Dan

Nearly Dan is a US group from Seattle that performs as a tribute and cover act for Steely Dan, the 1970s alternative rock band. The group forms in 1997, with musicians living in Stoke-on-Trent in north England, and it builds its reputation around detailed versions of Steely Dan material.

The band says it can play near note-perfect covers drawn from across the Steely Dan catalogue, and it also includes some solo work by Donald Fagen, Steely Dan’s frontman. Its work takes it to a wide range of venues, both large and small, and it performs nationally and internationally.
