Navos is the music project of Ross Harrington, a UK producer and DJ from Liverpool. He also comes from Rainford and is known by the Navos name rather than his own. He starts making music at the age of three, when he begins playing guitar, and later plays music at Rainford High School.

Before focusing on music full time, he studies to become a sports therapist at Edge Hill University and works part-time at Dunelm in Southport. He says that seeing Avicii perform in Manchester at the age of 14 is a key influence, and he also draws inspiration from Sonny Fodera and MK in shaping his sound.

Navos releases the tracks Foolin’ Me and Outta Love before Believe Me, a bedroom-produced dance track that helps bring him wider attention. Believe Me reaches number 3 in the Apple Music Dance Chart and receives more than 300 radio plays across national and regional stations within three weeks of release. He signs to Island Records after the track gains momentum. The name Navos comes from Harrington’s idea of “navy” as a possible career and the ending of his name, “OS”.
