Navigator

Navigator is a symphonic heavy metal band from Argentina. The name is also used by a number of other groups and projects in different countries and styles, including a Serbian music team, a Danish-German trio, a UK progressive rock and metal project, and other unrelated acts.

Other acts with the same name

One Navigator is a music team from Belgrade, Serbia, made up of Nebojsa from the electro-pop band INTRUDER and Bole of AMMONITE records. That duo has been producing beats and grooves since 2008, drawing on soul, jazz, funk, space disco and electronica. It also works as a remix unit, a DJ team and a soundsystem.

Another Navigator is a trio from Denmark and Germany, with Kent Eskildsen, Tony Andersen and Jens Pesche. That project focuses on Berlin School sequences and other space electronica, with prog-rock elements. Its instrumentation includes analogue sequencer patterns, Mellotrons and improvised electric guitar.

There is also a Navigator project by Braden J McKenna active between mid-2007 and late 2009.

A further Navigator is a UK progressive rock and metal project that draws on 1970s prog rock, power metal, death metal, philosophy, science fiction and history.

Another is a post-hardcore and metalcore band from Denver, Colorado, which releases the album An Idea Of Home in 2012 and includes former members of The Skyline Surrender.

The name is also used by a pop and alternative rock band from Lviv, Ukraine, formed in 2017 as a rebranding of the former Carbon band, with members Orest Prus, Anton Romaniv, Ihor Libryk and Eduard Chaikovskyi.
