NAPT
NAPT is an electronic act whose output sits between breakbeat, nu skool breaks, house, bass and disco. Their records are marked by emotive melodies, punchy drums and a low-end heavy sound.
Releases and labels
Their music appears on Fool’s Gold Records, OWSLA, Nest and Chris Lake’s Rising Music. A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records and Skrillex’s OWSLA/Nest labels both pick up their work. In 2012 they release the Tom Tom’s EP on Fool’s Gold Records, which receives strong critical attention, including a 10/10 rating from DJ Mag, Mixmag tune of the month and the number one position on Hype Machine.
They continue with further releases on Fool’s Gold Records, OWSLA, Nest and Rising Music. In 2014 they release “Come On Surrender”, featuring Ashley P, and the track becomes a notable record during Miami’s music season.
Recognition and support
NAPT’s music receives support from Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Annie Mac, A-Trak, Skrillex, Chuckie, GTA, Tiesto, Crookers, Laidback Luke, Don Diablo and Dillon Francis.
Performances
The act tours internationally, taking its party-focused sets to clubs and festivals across the world. Venues and events mentioned include Fabric in London and Glastonbury festival, with performances also noted in Sydney, New York, Tokyo and London.
