Mystery Jets

Mystery Jets are an indie rock band from Twickenham, United Kingdom. They form in 2004 and are active from then to the present. Their sound is associated with indie rock, pop, post-punk revival and rock, and they are also tagged as alternative, indie and britpop.

Band line-up

The group includes Tamara Pearce-Higgins, Pete Cochrane, Jack Flanagan, Henry Harrison, Kai Fish, Blaine Harrison, William Rees and Kapil Trivedi. In the line-up described in the band’s early releases, Blaine Harrison handles lead vocals and keyboards, Henry Harrison plays guitar and keyboards and provides backing vocals, William Rees plays lead guitar and sings, Pete Cochrane plays bass, and Kapil Trivedi plays drums. Henry Harrison no longer tours with the band but remains involved in writing and recording.

Albums and early releases

The band releases five albums:

Making Dens (2006), Twenty One (2008), Serotonin (2010), Radlands (2012) and Curve of the Earth (2016). Before their debut album, they release several EPs and the NME-featured track “Alas Agnes”. Making Dens is their debut album and draws positive reviews after the band tours around it. Twenty One follows as the second album, and Radlands is released after bassist Kai Fish leaves and Peter Cochrane takes his place.
