My Digital Enemy

My Digital Enemy is a UK house and tech house group from Brighton. The act consists of Sergei Hall, Kieron McTernan and Harry Diamond, and is known for a sound described as progressive tech house with a maximal edge.

Live approach

The group performs Dex’n’FX sets that combine laptops and keyboards, with electronic samples and distorted keyboard riffs synchronised live into the DJ mix. This format is part of their aim to offer a different club experience, and it leads to bookings at major venues, including an ongoing residency with London’s Gallery at Ministry of Sound.

Releases and label work

My Digital Enemy develops a catalogue as both producers and remixers. In 2008, the track “Wasted” gains support from Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Chris Lake, Judge Jules and Sandra Collins, and it is signed to Universal’s AATW division. Later in 2008, “Take Me With You”, their first collaboration with Prok & Fitch, becomes a major summer track for DJs and is released on Ministry of Sound’s Data Records imprint, also appearing on many compilations.

The group continues to release material on labels including CR2, Floorplay and Alternative Route, as well as on its own label, MDE Records, which launches in late 2008. Releases on MDE Records receive support from Eric Morillo, Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez and Sasha. In November 2009, Pete Tong makes “Carpe Diem” his Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Selection.

My Digital Enemy is asked to remix a range of well-known artists, including Groove Armada, Beyoncé, Madcon, Inhaler featuring Christian Burns, John Dahlbäck and Filthy Rich.
