Muzzle

Muzzle is a Seattle alternative rock group active from 1994 to 1999. The band releases two albums on Reprise Records: Betty Pickup and Actual Size.

Recording history

Betty Pickup appears in 1996 with a lineup of Ryan Maxwell on guitars and vocals, Burke Thomas on drums and vocals, Wesley Nelson on vocals and guitars, and Greg Collinsworth on bass and vocals. Phil Ek and the band produce, engineer and mix the record in Seattle, Washington.

Actual Size follows in 1999 with Jim Wilding, Ryan Maxwell, Wesley Nelson and Brad Nabors in the line-up. Lou Giordano produces, engineers and mixes part of the album in Hoboken, New Jersey and New York, while David Bianco works on sessions in Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks, California.
