Murkage Dave is the recording name of David Lewis, a UK R&B and soul musician from Leytonstone. His music is influenced by UK garage.

Projects and organisations

He founds and runs The Murkage Cartel, a Manchester arts organisation made up of the band Murkage and a varied group of DJs, musicians, photographers, filmmakers, designers and bloggers. He also starts Tonga, a London club night run in partnership with Mike Skinner of The Streets.

Collaborations and other work

Murkage Dave works with Mike Skinner, Jaykae, Skepta and the French rapper Nekfeu. Alongside his solo releases, he is also part of Halfbrother, a duo he forms with producer and vocalist Scally.
