Mujeres

Mujeres are a garage rock and indie rock group from Barcelona, Spain, active since 2007. The band forms as a quartet and begins at film school, where its members connect over a shared interest in vintage rock and punk.

They first work on soundtracks for their own film projects before developing a live set of loud, raw songs. Influenced by American garage rock traditions, they adopt a policy of playing any available show, which helps them build a loyal audience. Their early reputation grows through performances in small bars and at events such as SXSW.
