Mr Quest is a UK jungle and drum and bass producer from England, originally from Grays, Thurrock, Essex. Also known as Dorion Khan Quest, he works across drum and bass, jungle, MC DnB, hipstep, grime, pop and upfront reggae.

Career

He starts his musical work in 1990 and builds a catalogue that appears across digital music stores. His recordings are issued on several labels, including Solid Vinyl, Quest Recordings, Unstable Label and Low Key Recordings. Much of his output is associated with Solid Vinyl, his own label, which features releases involving a range of drum and bass artists.

Collaborations and releases

Quest works with many names in the drum and bass scene. Named projects and releases associated with him include Good Vibes, The Diary of a Drum and Bass Jungliz, Mr Quest presents The Ragga Twins Keep on Chanting, Mr Quest presents the Compilation Vol 1 and Ride on a Butterfly featuring Klair. His work also includes a compilation called The Best of Solid Vinyl, which features Shabba, Det, Skibb, The Ragga Twins and MC 5ive O, among others.
