Mr Black is the solo project of Israeli DJ and producer Yaniv Biton from Tel Aviv. He works in psytrance and is associated with DAW Music.

The project is described as having been conceived around 2001, although it is also said to have begun in the 1990s. It is presented as a solo act rather than a band.

The project is associated with a wide range of style labels, including grungegaze, dark psychedelicore, doom folk, symphonic noisewave, space pop, gothic soul, crust pop, math funk, acid metal, sludgetherealindustrial, powerpopviolence and southern postcore, alongside heavy psych, post-punk, psychedelic punk, psychedelia and psych punk.

It ends in 2010 following the death of Mr Black, and no albums are listed for the project.
