Moth

Moth is a Cincinnati, United States indie rock band. The group forms in Cincinnati, Ohio in the early 1990s, with frontman and songwriter Brad Stenz at its centre. Guitarist “The Billionaire” joins shortly after the band forms, followed by drummer Kevin Hogle after a fallout with Virgin Records and bassist Eli White.

Releases and activity

The band releases five full-length records, including a major-label release on Virgin Records. Its later releases include Immune to Gravity and Endlessly In Motion, the latter described as an eight-song debut album for a metal project under the same name.

Performances and recognition

Moth appears on television and web performances including Craig Kilborne, AOL, and Man Cow Show in Chicago. The band also undertakes numerous national tours and a UK tour. It receives critical attention from publications including Rolling Stone, Blender, Spin, Billboard, Alternative Press, Transworld, Stuff, CMJ, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times.
