Morgue Orgy

Morgue Orgy is a Birmingham, United Kingdom metal group active from 2008 to 2015. The band plays heavy metal, melodic death metal and thrash metal, and forms part of the UK melodic death metal scene.

Style and sound

Their music combines diatonic harmony with the thrash influence associated with Carcass and the modern approach of The Black Dahlia Murder. The band also moves between neoclassical keyboard solos and very fast, grindcore-influenced short blasts.

Live activity and releases

Morgue Orgy appears at Bloodstock Open Air in 2010 and shares bills with Anaal Nathrakh, Evile and the Rotted. Their releases include the debut EP The River & I and the follow-up Murders Most Foul, which features guest vocals from Dave Hunt of Anaal Nathrakh. Their debut full-length album is The Last Man On Earth, and they also make a video for the track 4 Days.

Line-up

The group consists of Martin Graham on vocals, Paul Prokopiv and Ben Porter on guitars, Paul Carter on keyboard, Tristan Holloway on bass, and Tom Collins on drums.
