More

More is a heavy metal band from London, active from 1979 to 1983, and associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. The group consists of Frank Darch, Paul Day, Kenny Cox, Brian Day and Laurie Mansworth.

Career

The band forms in the early period of NWOBHM and plays a style of heavy metal aligned with the classic powerful sound of that scene. Its debut album is Warhead, followed by Blood and Thunder. More later disbands after members leave for other NWOBHM groups, including Wildfire.

The band attempts reunions in 1985 and 1999, but neither attempt succeeds. After More, members go on to play in bands including Praying Mantis, Mammoth, Roadstar, Nightfall and Dangerous Breed.
