More Rockers is a Bristol group centred on Rob Smith and Peter D. Smith, with the verified line-up identifying Rob Smith and Peter D. as the members. Smith is one half of Bristol outfit Smith & Mighty, while Peter D. Rose provides basslines for Massive Attack Mk1.
The group’s sound combines breakbeat, reggae dub and R&B elements. One of their tracks, “Cure”, is a version of Diana Ross’ “Love Hangover” and features vocals from LD, also known as Louise De Cordova. The track uses a strong bassline and an old hardcore-style break.
