Monika Kruse is a German techno DJ and producer from Berlin, born in 1971. She is one of Berlin’s best-known DJs and is associated with techno, minimal and electronic music, while earlier in her career she also works in deep house and later explores darker techno sounds.

Career

Kruse builds a long career across several styles, with more than a decade of activity described as bringing success in the electronic music scene. She is voted 4th Best National DJ in a poll by the German music magazine Raveline, placing just behind Sven Väth.

She is also connected with Terminal M, and the project name Monika Kruse @ Voodooamt is associated with her.

Live work and festivals

Her touring and performance schedule includes the Changes of Perception Tour, beginning at Berlin’s Panorama Bar / Berghain. She also plays at the Berlin Love Parade, Streetparade, Circle of Love festival, Nature One, and Sonar, and appears on dates across Europe.
