Monarchy

Monarchy are an Australian, London-based electronic music group active since 2009. The duo consists of Andrew Armstrong and Ra Black. Their sound sits across electronic, synthpop and electropop.

Releases and collaborations

Their first single, Gold In The Fire / Black The Colour Of My Heart, is released on Neon Gold Records. Their debut album, Around The Sun, follows in 2011. Monarchy also collaborate with electronic artist Karma Fields on the track Faint Echoes, which appears on the album New Age | Dark Age.

Remixes and live work

The group produce remixes for artists including Ellie Goulding, Kelis, Lady Gaga and Marina & the Diamonds. Their first live show is broadcast into space, making them the first band to perform live into space.

Label and activity

Monarchy are associated with Mercury Records. They continue as an active group after periods of split and reunion.
