Molly Nilsson is a Swedish singer and producer from Stockholm, and is based in Berlin, Germany. Born in 1984, she works in electronic music with a sound associated with hypnagogic pop, leftfield, minimal synth, minimal wave and pop.

Career

Nilsson has run her own label and produced her own music since 2007. She performs as a one-woman act and is known for writing songs with a nostalgic pop feel and reflective lyrics. Her work is described as moving between themes of life and death, love and trouble, and an imagined space between reality and dream.
