Mojo Rising

Mojo Rising is a Los Angeles DJ, producer and performer originally from Chicago. Active in the Los Angeles electronic music scene from the early 1990s, he begins by playing wind instruments in symphonic and jazz bands before moving into music creation through MIDI, synthesis and sampling in high school. After discovering rave culture in the early 1990s, he works as a DJ in Los Angeles and holds residencies including F.A.M.I.L.Y. and Insomniac Productions.

As a performer and producer, Mojo Rising works across a range of electronic styles, including downtempo, house and drum & bass, and describes his approach as broad and eclectic. His releases appear on Cold Busted and Journees Music.
