Modern Day Babylon

Modern Day Babylon is a Czech instrumental progressive metal group from Teplice. It begins as a djent project led by Tomáš Raclavský and has been active since 2010.

Line-up

Raclavský handles guitar, studio bass, drum programming, synth and production duties. Přemysl Kunčický plays bass and Petr Hataš plays drums. Former live members include Marek Mrvík on live bass and Vojta Šeminský on live drums.

Releases

The group releases the EP Manipulation Theory in 2011 and the album Travelers in 2013.

Style

Their sound is rooted in djent, instrumental metal and progressive metal, with math metal also listed among their tags.
