Miss Monique is the stage name of Ukrainian electronic music artist Olesia Arkusha, also identified as Alesia Arkusha. Born in 1992 and based in Kyïv, she works across electronic, melodic house, melodic techno, melodic trance, progressive house and trance.

Career

She begins performing in 2011 and develops a DJ career through club and radio work. Her Mind Games Podcast starts broadcasting in 2013, and the show MiMo Weekly also becomes part of her output. Her YouTube podcasts help establish her profile, particularly with listeners outside Ukraine.

Miss Monique performs in Ukraine for two years, appearing in many Ukrainian cities, before moving on to international venues. By 2014 she works with the Freegrant Music label, and her releases gain support from leading DJs including Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold.

Her music appears on labels including Black Hole, Bonzai Progressive and Freegrant Music. She is also associated with Siona Records.

International profile

By 2017 she has performed in more than 25 countries and presents her show twice in Ibiza. Her podcast attracts a large audience on YouTube, with more than 20 million views mentioned for the channel.
