Mish

Mish is a name used by more than one artist. One is Michelle Mish, an Australian hardstyle DJ and producer based in the Netherlands. The other is Mish, a four-piece band from Sydney, Australia, whose sound is described as progressive and alternative metal.

The Sydney band Mish forms as a four-piece act with Rowls Hines on guitar and vocals, Mark Johnstone on drums, Nathan Kenna on bass, and Garth Waters on guitar. Tolmie Rogue Simian handles visuals.

The band releases its debut album, The Entrance, independently in 2011 through Grindhead Records and Bird’s Robe Records. The album is recorded by Clay at The Brain Studios in Sydney and mastered by Alan Douches, whose credits include work with Converge, Mastodon, Between the Buried and Me, and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
