Misanthrope

Misanthrope is a French metal group formed in 1989. The band is associated with death metal, progressive death metal and avant-garde metal, and is also described as a French death/doom metal act. It remains active.

The line-up includes S.A.S. de l’Argilière, Gaël Féret, Jean-Jacques Moréac and Anthony Scemama. S.A.S. de l’Argilière handles vocals, and Jean-Jacques Moréac plays bass. Moréac and other members also work on side projects such as Argile, and the band has connections with Korum, Balrog and Lyzanxia.
