Mimi Barks

Mimi Barks is a German singer, producer and songwriter working in trap-metal and doom-trap, with industrial, hip-hop, metal and harsh electro elements in her sound. She is based in Berlin, where she develops her musical style, and is identified as a UK-based trap-metal artist. Her work is noted for bringing trap into a male-dominated metal scene, and she attracts interest from labels.

Her music sits at the intersection of trap, metal and industrial influences, with a dark, abrasive character. She is associated with the German scene and is credited with adding a feminine perspective to trap-metal while keeping the genre’s harder edges.
