Millions Like Us

Millions Like Us are a trio of musicians making electronic dance music. The group forms after the end of a Brighton band, with Tom, Ian and Chris coming together from live music backgrounds and choosing to focus on studio production rather than playing instruments in a band setting.

Style and sound

Their music combines melody with heavy bass-led dance music. The act is associated with dubstep, electro house and glitch, and is described as a dubstep artist.

Early recognition

Their first track, “Put Your Shoes On”, is sent to BBC radio and reaches 1Xtra’s Unsigned Track of the Week on DJ Target’s 100% Homegrown show within a day. It then receives daytime airplay across BBC Radio 1 programmes and leads to a live interview with Jo Whiley.

Remixes and management

Millions Like Us are managed by Three Six Zero Group, which also represents artists including Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and Nero. The group also remixes tracks by Hurts, Morning Parade and Loick Essien.
