Miles Hunt

Miles Hunt is a singer and songwriter from Birmingham, United Kingdom, born in 1966. He is best known as the singer of The Wonder Stuff, the 1990s indie band, and he also appears as a member of The Miles Hunt Club, Vent 414 and From Eden.

Career

His solo career begins in 1999. He releases three studio albums under his own name: Hairy On The Inside in 2000, The Miles Hunt Club in 2002, credited under the artist name The Miles Hunt Club, and Not An Exit in 2007. He also releases a number of live albums.

Not An Exit is recorded with violinist Erica Nockalls, who joins The Wonder Stuff and becomes involved in later Miles Hunt work. Hunt also briefly plays with Vent 414, and he continues to perform solo tours while also recording new material with a reformed The Wonder Stuff.

His live shows are known for long anecdotes and stories, which often take up much of the performance alongside the songs.
