Miki Berenyi Trio

Miki Berenyi Trio is a London-based group active from 2023, made up of Miki Berenyi, Oliver Cherer and Kevin McKillop. The project brings together musicians with backgrounds in dream pop, indie pop, indie rock and shoegaze.

Members and backgrounds

Miki Berenyi appears on vocals and guitar and is known for Lush. Kevin McKillop, also known as Kevin “Moose” McKillop, plays guitar and is associated with Moose. Oliver Cherer is linked with Gilroy Mere, Dollboy and Aircooled.

Formation

The three musicians first work together during Piroshka’s 2021 tour. Berenyi and McKillop are founder members of that group, while Cherer joins on bass to replace Mick Conroy of Modern English, who has moved to the United States.
