Mike Mago
Mike Mago is a Dutch house DJ and producer from Utrecht and Amsterdam, born in 1979. He starts DJing in 2001 after switching from microphone work to turntables.
DJ work and performances
He performs at a wide range of venues and events, including Supernatural, Extrema, Rechter in Eindhoven, Mezz in Breda, ’t Paard in The Hague, Doornroosje in Nijmegen, a theatre festival in Antwerp, Ekko and Tivoli in Utrecht. His set style reflects a broad taste in music, with a particular interest in hip hop and broken beat, and he adapts his selections to the type of party.
Residencies and production work
Mike Mago is a resident DJ at DumDum and Boemklatsch. Alongside DJing, he also works as a producer and helps organise Boemklatsch productions, where he is mainly involved in decoration and promotion.
