Mike Lindup

Mike Lindup is a London-born keyboard player and falsetto singer, born in 1959, best known for his work with the British funk, rock and pop band Level 42. He is also credited by his birth name, Michael Lindup.

Level 42

Lindup joins Mark King, Phil Gould and others in forming Level 42, a band associated with the 1980s and 1990s British funk/rock/pop scene. He serves as the group’s keyboard player and one of its vocalists, known in particular for his high-register singing. In 2006 he returns to the band for touring and for the recording of Retroglide, replacing Lyndon Connah.

Da Lata

From July 2000, Lindup is part of the live line-up of UK/Brazilian group Da Lata. In that setting he plays keyboards, percussion and backing vocals. The group performs at clubs and festivals across the UK and Europe, as well as in the USA, Canada, Japan, South Africa and China.
