Mietze Conte is the side project of Matthias Oldofredi, an Austrian musician, producer and DJ who performs under the name filous. Oldofredi is born in Vienna, Austria, in 1997.

The project serves as a space for experimentation and a more playful approach to making music. Oldofredi describes it as a return to experimenting and having fun, rather than approaching music in an overly cerebral way.

Mietze Conte’s sound is faster and more bubbly than filous, and is associated with euro-dance and experimental electronic music. It sits apart from Oldofredi’s more melodic, radio-friendly work as filous.
