Middle Kids are an indie rock group from Sydney, active since 2015. The band consists of Hannah Joy, Harry Day and Tim Fitz, and they release music through Middle Kids Pty Limited, MK Recordings, MK Recordings Pty Ltd. and EMI Music Australia.

Release history

In 2016, the group releases the single “Edge of Town”. The track is described as a non-fictional account of a girl who gets swallowed up by the earth.

Style

The band’s sound is associated with indie rock and alternative rock. “Edge of Town” features a slide steel guitar, distorted instrumentation and a familiar melody.
