Micky Modelle is a DJ and producer from Belfast. He is associated with the act Electro Headz and is also known for his work as a solo artist and collaborator in dance and electronic music.

Career

He has a UK top 10 hit with Dancing in the Dark, a remix of a song first released in Belgium by Jessy. The track reaches number 10 in the UK and also charts in Belgium, Ireland and Sweden. He also releases Over You and Show Me Heaven, and works under the credit Micky Modelle vs Jessy on The Beach / Drumstation.

He also collaborates with Samantha Mumba on a version of Gotta Tell You. His remix work includes tracks for The Source and Pink, as well as remixes of Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back), Real Shy and Right Beside You. He also produces The Sound remixes.

Other activity

In 2000, he is named DJ of the Year in Ireland. In 2008, he joins the judging panel for the Belfast CityBeat contest Young Star Search and produces the singles for the winners Rachel Pearson and Caitlin McClurg.
