Mick Foley is an American professional wrestler, actor, author, comedian and voice actor from the United States. He works under his own name and under several wrestling personas, including Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love. He is also known as “The Hardcore Legend”, a nickname he shares with Terry Funk.

Wrestling career

Foley works across several major wrestling promotions, including WWE, WCW, Ring of Honor, ECW and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). In WWF/WWE, he becomes the first WWF Hardcore Champion and also wins the WWF Championship three times as Mankind. He also wins the WWF Tag Team Championship eight times, the ECW World Tag Team Championship twice and the WCW World Tag Team Championship once.

After he steps away from a full-time wrestling schedule, Foley appears for WWE as a special guest referee and later as a colour commentator for the SmackDown brand. He later signs with TNA, where he serves in the storyline role of Executive Shareholder and majority stock holder. In TNA, he holds the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the TNA Legends Championship.

Other work

Outside wrestling, Foley is a multiple-time New York Times bestselling autobiographer. He also appears in the documentary Beyond the Mat, which follows him at the height of his career, and later signs on for Bloodstained Memoirs, another wrestling documentary.
