Michelle Visage is an American radio DJ, singer, actress, media personality, television host and showgirl from Perth Amboy, United States. Born Michelle Lynn Shupack in 1968, she first gains recognition as a member of Seduction, a group that has five singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

She later becomes lead vocalist of The S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M., which reaches the top of the dance charts in 1993. Visage also co-hosts The RuPaul Show with RuPaul from 1996 to 1998, beginning a long-running professional association with him.

Broadcasting and television

From 1996 to 2011, Visage works as a radio DJ across the United States. She returns to television in 2011 on RuPaul's Drag Race and serves as a permanent judge from the third season onward. She also judges every season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Canada's Drag Race.

Her other television appearances include judging the first two seasons of Ireland's Got Talent from 2018 to 2019, competing in the fifteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother, and taking part in series 17 of Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC.

Stage, writing and awards

Visage makes her West End debut in Everybody's Talking About Jamie in 2018. Her first book, The Diva Rules, is published in 2015. From its eleventh season onward, she becomes a producer on Drag Race and receives a Primetime Emmy Award in 2019 for Outstanding Competition Program.
