Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Burnaby, Canada. Born in 1975, he performs within jazz, swing, pop, big band and jazz pop, and is also associated with easy listening.

Career

He is known for interpreting traditional pop standards and for helping renew interest in the Great American Songbook. His self-titled debut album appears in 2003 and reaches the top ten in Canada and the United Kingdom. He gains wider international attention with It’s Time in 2005 and Call Me Irresponsible in 2007, both of which top charts in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and several European countries.

In 2009, Crazy Love debuts at number one on the US Billboard 200 and stays there for two weeks, while also becoming his fourth album to lead Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums chart. His holiday album Christmas follows in 2011 and spends five weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, including the final weeks of 2011 and the first week of 2012. It also reaches the top five in the United Kingdom and becomes his third consecutive album to top the Billboard 200.

Later releases include To Be Loved in 2013, Nobody but Me in 2016, Love in 2018 and Higher in 2022. Earlier studio albums listed for him include BaBalu in 2001 and Dream in 2002.

Awards and recognition

Bublé sells more than 75 million records worldwide and receives five Grammy Awards and fifteen Juno Awards. He is also a member of ArtistsCAN.
