Micall Parknsun is a British rapper and producer from the United Kingdom, active in the UK hip-hop scene. He first appears as part of a duo with fellow rapper R.A.M under the name 2Halves, releasing tracks including “Freedom Fighters”.

Early releases and solo work

After 2Halves split, he focuses on a solo career and releases the 12-inch vinyl Tha Shit/Da Struggle in 2004, featuring Jehst. He then releases his first album, The Working Class Dad, on Low Life/Sit Tight in 2005. That release attracts anticipation and is well received within UK hip-hop, and one of its notable tracks is “Saltfish & Aggie”, which features Wordsmith, Skriblah and Kyza from Terra Firma.

Mixtape work and collaborators

In 2006, he releases The Interview Mixtape, which includes appearances from Jehst, Asaviour, Dubbledge and Humurak D. Gritty. Across his early catalogue, he works with a range of established UK hip-hop artists and keeps a relatively small recorded output while remaining involved in the scene.
