Meta and the Cornerstones
Meta and the Cornerstones is a reggae group from Brooklyn, New York, active since 2006. The group is centred on Meta Dia, who is its founder and lead singer. Dia grows up in Senegal and has been playing music for nearly fifteen years.
The band works in a roots, rock and reggae style. Its line-up changes over time, but the Cornerstones develop into a tight reggae group with a funkier feel. They perform mainly original material and sing in several languages.
Their first album is Forward Music.
