Men Of North Country is a soul and mod group from Israel, formed in 2008 and based in Tel Aviv. The group includes דורון פרחי, בועז וולף and ספי ציזלינג. Its line-up is built around lead vocals, drums and production, guitar, bass and a brass section.

Line-up and sound

The group’s line-up includes lead singer Yashiv Cohen, drummer and producer Boaz Wolf, guitarist Doron Farhi and bassist Jonathan Ydov. The brass section includes Ido Kretchmer on trombone and siblings Sefi Sizzling on trumpet and Ongy Sizzling on saxophone. Its style is described as soul with influences from mod sounds and punk from the late 1970s, and it is associated with northern soul.
