Active in the early 90's, Melts is a sludge metal band from Atlanta, Ga. Influences include Melvins, The Jesus Lizard, Black Sabbath, Harvey Milk, and EyeHateGod (EHG's Jimmy Bower was an early bass player for Melts). Melts is the brainchild of TheoX (Ted Williamson) - vocals / guitar, and the album "Salicoutinaw" (227 records) includes Jo Jameson - bass, and Andrew Barker - drums.
