Melting

Melting is a group associated with hardcore, experimental, metalcore, noise and grindcore, and is described as making sonic aggression from Melbourne.

The name is also used for an experimental solo project linked to Blake Cecil from Texas, who is better known for Dubious Disc, an 8-bit reggae dub project. In that context, Melting makes shoegazey experimental 8-bit music and is released through the netlabel NOG Records, with the music available online for free.

Another description presents Melting as a woman making electronic music on her own, sometimes with other people, and credits Melting with vocals, synths, pianos, drum programming and production unless otherwise stated.
