She grew up on Denman Island, a small Island in the strait of Georgia, also known as the most beautiful place on earth. She used to play acoustic guitar and sing, then she became bored shitless of playing exclusively in coffee shops and having people sit quietly drinking chamomile tea and not talking during her set. (for the love of god...feel free to talk when she plays!)so she taught herself to beat-box and play the jug, while playing guitar, and singing and rapping (all with the help of a loop pedal).
