Meet Your Feet
Meet Your Feet is an all-women eight-piece band from Germany, with a note of Leipzig. The group originally plays from 1987 to 1992 and reforms in 2010. It writes material by Gelhaus, Hewitt and Milstein, who are also the founding members.
The band works in a blend of soul, jazz and Latin styles, with a dance-oriented sound reflected in its name. It plays major festivals including WOMAD and Glastonbury, tours internationally, and appears on television.
