Mees Dierdorp

Mees Dierdorp is a Dutch deep house producer. He works in a style that draws on poetry, soul, improvisational acoustic elements and modern dance sounds, and his music is described as subtle, warm and difficult to categorise.

Career

Dierdorp starts composing music and builds a body of work that crosses boundaries between electronic and more organic forms. He founds his own imprint, MEES Records, in 2012, with the aim of creating a space for artists and listeners interested in exploratory music.

Release

His debut album, Wild Window, presents a selection of work developed over the previous year. It includes material ranging from atmospheric poetry and live instrumentation to modern tech-house and dancefloor-oriented tracks.
