Medals

Medals is a group associated with indie pop and pop rock. It is based in Brooklyn, New York, and is a project by JP Reid, who is also linked with Sucioperro. The act begins as a new project after earlier material is intended for The Jaguar Club, but after that band breaks up the remaining members start over under the Medals name.

Medals’ debut work starts in September 2009. The band’s line-up includes William Popadic on vocals and guitar, Yoichiro Fujita on bass and synths, and Nadia Brittingham on drums and synths. The music draws on 1990s electronica, later Blur albums, and Bob Dylan’s No Direction Home documentary.
