Me

Me is a name used by several different musical acts and solo projects.

ME, the Australian rock band

One act called ME is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 2008. The line-up is Luke Ferris on lead vocals, piano and guitar, Damian Tapley on guitar and backing vocals, Michael Godde on bass and backing vocals, and Spike Rogers on drums and programming. The group releases the singles Westward Backwards, Like a Fox and Naked. Their debut mini-album, Another Story High, is recorded by Simon “Barny” Barnicott and issued on Lizard King Records. A debut album, Even The Odd Ones Out, is also listed for release on Lizard King Records.

Me, the Japanese pop-rock solo project

Another use of the name refers to the musical alter-ego of Japanese pop-rock singer misono, born Koda Misono in Kyoto, Japan, in 1984. She first appears as a guest vocalist on BACK-ON’s single with you and later releases the solo single HO-N-TO-U-SO / SU-KI-RA-I.

ME, the Dutch solo project

ME is also the project name used by Dutch musician, singer-songwriter, label owner and music entrepreneur Minco Eggersman. He is also the lead singer of At the close of every day and a drummer in The Spirit That Guides Us, and releases solo work both under his own name and as ME.

Other uses

The name also appears as an Indonesian boy band, as an Anglo-Irish band formed in Bristol in the early 1990s that releases the WAKE UP E.P. and the album HARMONISE OR DIE, and as the name used by Brighton-born pop, indie and rap artist Rowan Dawes, a founding member of the London-based band Sam and Me and an artist signed to Manchester’s Acoustic Anarkhy label.
