Mayday

Mayday is the name of several acts, including an Omaha indie rock band from the United States. This group consists of Pat Oakes and Ted Stevens.

Another act with the same name is the Taiwanese band Mayday, also known as Wǔ Yuè Tiān, which begins life as So Band and adopts the name Mayday in 1997. That name comes from Masa’s online nickname. The Taiwanese group has five members: Monster on lead guitar and as leader, Ashin on vocals, Stone on rhythm guitar, Masa on bass and Ming on drums. Its first album appears in 1999. The band wins multiple Golden Melody Awards for Best Band in 2001, 2004, 2009 and 2012.

A third act named Mayday is a grime MC from Birmingham in the UK, but the main act associated with this entry is the US indie rock group.
