Maxwell D is a grime and UK garage artist who is a former member of Pay As You Go Cartel. He is best known for the track “Know We”, which is described as one of the first of its kind and, by many accounts, the first grime tune.

As a solo artist, his release history has had less impact than his work with the group. His main solo hit is “Serious”.
