Max Vangeli

Max Vangeli is a house and progressive house producer and DJ from Căuşeni, in the United States, born in 1985. He works in vocal house and progressive house, and is associated with the duo AN21 & Max Vangeli.

Career

Vangeli relocates to San Francisco to pursue his music career and later builds an international profile through club dates, touring and remixes. MTV describes him as one of the most promising artists for 2011, and he is also named by DJ Mag as one of its top five DJs to watch in 2011.

His work includes charting remixes and support from Pete Tong, who champions his track “Swedish Beauty” as an Essential New Tune. He also remixes Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed” and, with Steve Angello and labelmate AN21, produces a remix of Pendulum’s “The Island”, which receives support from Zane Lowe.

Releases and collaborations

Vangeli’s first single from his album project is “People of the Night”, released with Tiësto and AN21. His debut album is set to include collaborations with Steve Angello, Tiësto, Example, Calvin Harris and Dirty South. He is presented as an artist with a strong focus on emotive, peak-time house records and a growing presence on Beatport’s charts.

Live work

He performs internationally, including regular appearances at Pacha Ibiza for the Masquerade Motel alongside the Swedish House Mafia, as well as slots at Sensation White. His career is framed around both club performance and solo touring in the United States and abroad.
