Max Milner

Max Milner is a singer-songwriter from London, England. He also works in musical theatre and appears in productions including the UK tour of Footloose, where he plays Ren, and the Asian tour of High School Musical, where he plays Troy Bolton.

The Voice UK

Milner appears on The Voice UK in 2012. For his audition, he performs a mash-up of The Beatles’ “Come Together” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”. Three coaches — Danny O’Donoghue, Jessie J and will.i.am — turn for him, and he chooses O’Donoghue as his coach.

In the battle round, he sings Madcon’s “Beggin’” against Bill Downs and is chosen as the winner by O’Donoghue. In the second live show, he performs Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” and lands in the bottom two with Hannah Berney, but is saved. In the fourth live show, he performs KT Tunstall’s “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree”, including elements of Ed Sheeran’s “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You”, and is again saved by O’Donoghue after placing in the bottom three with Aleks Josh and David Julien. He is eliminated in the semi-finals after performing The Police’s “Every Breath You Take”, finishing ahead of Bo Bruce in the vote.
